ANO lost since February but still would win the elections

02. 04. 2015

If parliamentary elections were held now, six parties would enter the Chamber of Deputies: ANO (21,3 %), CSSD (Social Democrats – 19,5 %), KSCM (Communists – 16,6 %), TOP 09/Mayors and Independents (9,4 %), KDU-CSL (Christian Democrats – 7,6 %) and ODS (6,7 %). ANO lost almost 5 percent points since last poll in February but still would win the elections and the current government coalition would gain a constitutional majority. Almost a fifth of the votes would be obtained by entities that would not exceed the threshold of the Chamber.

At the end of March, elections would be attended by 49 % of eligible voters. Willingness to go to vote is, since elections in 2013 (which were attended by 59.5% of eligible voters), consistently lower, still moves around half of eligible voters.

Personal interviews took place since March, 19, to 29, 2015, on a representative sample of 971 Czech citizens aged 18 +, selected by quota sampling.
